Luna & Finch was born from a shared love of food, hospitality and bringing people together around the table.
We’re Susie and Sam — partners in life and in Luna & Finch. Together, we’ve created a family-run catering business built around exceptional food, thoughtful hospitality and experiences that feel genuinely personal.
Meet Sam
Sam has spent more than 19 years working as a professional chef, with a career spanning fine dining, boutique restaurants, development kitchens and professional sport. Along the way, he was named Accor Chef of the Year,
competing in Paris against chefs from across the group.
His experience has shaped a style of cooking that is refined but unfussy, seasonal and produce-led, with flavour always at the heart of it.
Meet Susie
Behind the scenes, Susie looks after much of what turns an idea into an experience — from the first enquiry and menu planning to the countless details that make an event run smoothly.
Together, we combine Sam’s culinary experience with a relaxed, personal approach to hospitality, creating events that feel considered without ever feeling overly formal.
Luna & Finch Today
Based in Ashburton, Devon, Luna & Finch has grown into a busy bespoke catering business, creating private dining experiences, weddings, celebrations and events across the South West and beyond.
However different each event may be, our approach remains the same: thoughtful food, genuine hospitality and an experience that feels completely personal to the people around the table.
