Luna & Finch was born from our shared love of food, family, and meaningful moments around the table.

We’re Susie and Sam — partners in life, work, and the art of hosting. Sam is a professional chef with nearly two decades of experience, from fine dining kitchens to countryside retreats. His cooking is led by the seasons, inspired by simplicity, and grounded in a passion for flavour. Susie brings warmth, creativity, and a love for making people feel looked after — with a calm, thoughtful presence that keeps everything running smoothly.

Together, we created Luna & Finch as a way to do what we love: bringing people together over exceptional food in a way that feels personal, relaxed, and beautifully considered. Whether it’s an intimate wedding, a joyful family celebration, or a private dinner at home, our focus is always on creating something special.

The name Luna & Finch reflects our values. Luna, meaning moon, represents rhythm, seasonality, and those quietly magical moments that happen around the table. Finch, a small songbird, stands for togetherness, family, and the everyday beauty found in connection and creativity. These words felt like us — and what we hoped to build.
